Day Twelve - In the Spirit of Giving

The number twelve reminds me of the song The Twelve Days of Christmas that goes something like this...On the first day of Christmas...da di da di da etc., you know the tune. But did you every actually DO the twelve days of gift giving? Me neither. Today I bought a plane ticket as a gift for my eldest daughter so she could attend the wedding of my youngest daughter this September. So guess I feel generous today and was thinking about giving gifts, and though this would be a great opportunity for me to do 12 days of gift giving for the launch of my new book.

Giving is a Q4 characteristic and it goes along with the concept of reciprocity which is a mutual or cooperative interchange of favors or privileges. So what I decided to do is the following:

Choose 12 random, non-consecutive days of which I will give gifts to the readers of this blog. It could be a free autographed copy of the book when it is out
on launch date. It could be other books, one of which is a surprise to be announced on launch day.
I am thinking that one lucky person I will be willing to fly to Spain and meet with me personally. (Just a thought)

But in order for this to work properly and fairly I need a lot of people to read the blog. So the 12 days will be unannounced from here until October 8th. It could happen any day between now and then. The will NOT be a great supply of gifts so it is first-come-first-served. You get there late and you lose out. So you have to read the blog to see what day the event happens.

We have some very cool website memberships available that several people will get a free membership as well. These sites will be very useful and personally profitable to be a member.

So stay tuned. This is going to be something special, guaranteed.

Ok, ok I may be nuts, (and my wife is probably going to kill me for this...)but lets change this around.
